スリランカのサファイアによく見られるジルコンヘイローが大量に入っているサファイア。ジルコンの結晶とその周りを取り囲むひずみ割れが後光に見えることからジルコンヘイローと呼ばれます。まるで惑星が浮かぶ宇宙のような景色を見せ、顕微鏡を覗き込む人を楽しませてくれます。

Sapphire with a large amount of zircon halo, which is common in Sri Lankan sapphires. It is called zircon halo because the zircon crystals and the strain cracks surrounding them look like a halo. The view is like a cosmic landscape of floating planets, delighting those who look through a microscope.
